Time-Saving Technique

Getting stuff done is hard, especially when you are doing a job and managing your studies simultaneously. Here is a technique “Pomodoro” a popular time-management method that can help you to hyper-focus, avoid distraction and get things done in a quick blast. Let’s break it down and see how it works.

The Pomodoro Technique was developed in the late 1980s by then university student Francesco Cirillo. The main purpose of this technique is to save time by breaking down a large task into small ones with proper concentration. Following are the steps of the Pomodoro Technique shown in the picture:

This technique helps us to focus more on the task which you decided to do with a short break of 5 mint. After 4 Pomodoro take a long break of 15–30 minutes and then start your work again if remaining. This technique makes work easier and to complete on time.

I had never heard of this technique before but it sounds interesting. I applied this technique to complete my remaining course of Amal. When I tried it first I felt difficult but after completing the first Pomodoro, it gives me more strength and I feel fun to do it. Some of the things distract me while doing the task i.e. Family members chit chat, Snapchat notifications, and Whatsapp call, etc. I completed my course by attempting 4 Pomodoro. It helps me to achieve my goal before time and I will surely apply this technique further to complete my course, assignments, and presentations. This technique helps me to focus more on work rather than other activities. When you have to complete your course, projects, or any other work-related to home on time, This is the best technique to apply because it saves your time and stops you from indulging in other activities
